About

Hello, I’m Teresa Cortez, an illustrator and animator from Lisbon.

I studied Fine Arts and Mulimedia Art at Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa and illustration at Instituto Superior de Educação e Ciências, Lisbon.

Since 2003 I work has illustrator for covers, magazines, posters, records and children books. Collaborated with Discos Pataca, 2034, Universal, Take It Easy, Ink Publishing, Bayard Jeunesse, Tcharan, Pato Lógico, Livros Horizonte, Máquina de Voar, GataFunho. I teach illustration at Nextart School in Lisbon since 2012 and I give animation workshops at Cinemateca Júnior Lisbon, since 2009.
